The Rio Pro Secure Card Printer is built with high performance purpose-built materials and advanced components, which features an opaque, lockable input hopper to secure blank cards. There is a secondary lock that prevents the printer from being opened by unauthorised personnel and secures the opaque output stacker cover. Moulded into the base of the printer is a Kensington Lock slot, this is so the printer can be secured to a fixed location. The Rio Pro Secure offers high-quality personalised printing and in-line magnetic stripe or smart card encoding, with a flexible interface reinforced by physical and logical security.

Description:

The Magicard Rio Pro has a patented HoloKote security technology that adds a watermark to the card as it is printed. No additional consumables are required and it can be customised to an individual logo design, that enables true security at no extra cost. There are secure encoding options available that include magnetic stripe and smart card technologies. The Magicard Rio Pro has USB and Ethernet interfaces that are complemented with a Microsoft certified plug & play driver. To be able to integrate the Rio Pro Secure with third party issuance software, printer APIs can also be provided and on request, printers can also be password-locked electronically, or limited to print only from a specific application.
