With a host of customizable options including wireless connectivity, the best-in-class GX™ model offers the widest range of features in a desktop printer, making it perfect for emerging and sophisticated applications.
When customers choose the combined direct thermal/thermal transfer version of the GK or GX, they also choose the desktop printer with the easiest ribbon-loading system around. And, with the smallest footprint of any 4-inch thermal desktop printer available, the direct thermal GK and GX models are the perfect fit for congested areas.
G-Series printers fit right in with other Zebra desktop, tabletop and mobile printers because they speak the same programming languages. The GK and GX models come standard with both EPL and ZPL languages, and can even switch between label formats.
To meet customers' increasing demand for distributed printing, the G-Series printers can be easily networked into an Ethernet environment with our internal ZebraNet® 10/100 Print Server option.
Providing wireless freedom, the GX model is the only desktop printer on the market to offer Bluetooth® and secure 802.11b/g wireless connectivity options. An LCD panel, which is included with the purchase of either wireless option, communicates prompts and wireless status.
The G-Series improves on the performance of our current 4-inch desktop printers, and outperforms competitors. End-user customers using the GK model will enjoy fast first-label-out capability and industry-leading print speeds of up to 5 inches per second. The GX delivers even faster first-label-out and, at 6 inches per second, the fastest desktop printer speed on the market.
