The compact OPV 1001 Omni-directional laser scanner is one of the smallest, hands-free scanners on the market today, with a footprint requiring less than 3 inches by 3 inches. This state-of-the-art scanner operates at 100 scans per second.
 Description

It features a variety of mounting options. It can be mounted by the holes on the base, or used as a freestanding unit, with or without the optional low profile stand. The OPV 1001’s small size allows the scanner to fit into the tightest spaces making ideal for a wide range of uses from industrial environments to retail applications.

Omni-directional scanning allows for quick hands-free scanning without the need for barcode orientation. The OPV 1001 automatically recognizes and decodes most popular barcode symbologies. Programmable parameters allow the user to easily configure the scanner to match a particular application.

The OPV 1001 has fully configurable power saving options that allow it to enter a low-power mode while not in use, yet instantly comes alive when it detects a barcode.

The OPV 1001 comes with standard keyboard wedge, RS232 and USB connector configurations.
