The Microscan HS-41x can decode most 1D and 2D symbols in any orientation including direct part mark (DPM) codes, with its dual field optics.

Combining its compact, rugged form factor and high performance, the HS-41x is ideal for applications from the clean room to the factory floor. This imager has been designed for decoding low contrast 2D symbols on sheet metals, castings, plastics, and electronic components. To allow the HS-41X imager to consistently read damaged, distorted or challenging directly marked codes at high decode rates, it uses the Industries leading X-Mode decoding algorithms and innovative bright field lighting. To give the HS-41x its compact and durable design, these imagers include an overmolded IP54-rated enclosure that is capable of withstanding numerous 6 foot (1.8 meter) drops to concrete.
