The PowerScan PBT9500-RT has an IP65 rating, this rating guarantees the scanner protection from damages caused by exposure to moisture. It also features Bluetooth wireless technology that has a radio range (open air) that exceeds 90m / 295ft. The 9500 series is the first handheld series of scanners on the market capable of reading digital watermarks including Digimarc Barcodes. This is a great new application that can really reduce time spent at the checkout and additionally, product packaging that carries Digimarc Barcodes can connect mobile-enabled shoppers with additional product information, special offers, recommendations, reviews, social networks and more.
